Seventeen Days...

until I leave for Singapore for four months. I have yet to pack one item, in fact, I don't even own a bag suitable for transportation of the items I will need to take with me. Supposedly I it will be quit humid with frequent unannounced daily showers. A pair of boots might be a good idea, as would a raincoat without holes. I think I'll wing it, take as little as possible, and buy only what I need when I'm over there.

Now all I have to do is get through the 18+ hour flight over there. It has been recommended to me to just take sleeping pills, but I don't even believe in taking aspirin, so that might not work out. The flight leaves at about midnight on January the 4th, so I plan on just waking up early that day and wearing myself out through a series of fantastical feats such as running 20 miles, rounding up a heard of cattle, painting a 4'x8' self portrait, sweeping my yard, eating a 48oz porterhouse and escaping a giant glass case encased in cement and chains which will then be dropped into the silver lake reservoir, while my hands are hand-cuffed behind my back.

Wish me luck.
